Job Summary

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Operations Effectiveness Manager to lead the transformation of our Operations Effectiveness Operating Model. This role will drive business growth, process reengineering, infrastructure renewal, and change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to document processes, identify areas for improvement, and design solutions.
  • Develop and implement automated solutions using tools like RPA, Python, SQL, and other technologies.
  • Work with Operations teams to implement dashboards and deliver data insights, including data sourcing, wrangling, and analytics.
  • Design and implement data pipelines to automate data sourcing from various applications and databases.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and information systems capabilities to improve processes and generate efficiency.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in automation and data analytics, with a proven track record of leading transformation initiatives.
  • Proficient with data sourcing, wrangling, and analytics, and with RDBMS, SQL, and/or ETL tools.
  • Direct experience in automation and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, VBA, RPA.
  • Solution-oriented, self-starter, and strong advocate for change, adaptability, and continuous learning and improvement.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
