Brink's Canada Limited is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This position is essential for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and presentable. The role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold the standards of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain a consistent cleaning regimen across all facility areas to promote hygiene and safety.
  • Execute standard cleaning duties throughout the premises.
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning materials and tools, promptly informing the management of any shortages.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning activities, including floor maintenance, waste disposal, and upkeep of entryways.
  • Assess buildings and facilities for any operational issues and necessary repairs.

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in facility maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work is advantageous.
  • Completion of relevant training in custodial services or a commitment to pursue such training.
  • WHIMIS certification is required or a willingness to obtain it.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Physical capacity to manage heavy equipment and regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
  • A valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
