About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Manager to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our media and integrated marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing media strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Innovation: Drive media innovation by leveraging tactics that put our brands on the cutting-edge, driving leadership in our categories and for the organization.
  • Audience-Led Strategies: Develop audience-led strategies that deliver enhanced brand performance and measured impact across the full media-to-cart plan.
  • Digital and Retail Media: Drive increased impact of digital, retail media, and emerging platforms, embracing a test-and-learn mentality.
  • Media Governance: Create and manage organizational governance of media principles and best practices while upskilling the organization on capabilities for media.
  • Media Effectiveness: Ensure effectiveness of media through establishing and delivering select KPIs in partnership with the Analytics organization.
  • Marketing Effectiveness: Contribute to the growth of our brands by improving our marketing effectiveness.
  • Integrated Planning: Challenge our agencies, partners, marketing, and e-shopper teams to deliver integrated best-in-class plans with the consumer at the center.
  • Brand Briefs: Partner with brand to build briefs rooted in the consumer and human problems to solve.
  • Joint Business Partnerships: Identify opportunities for Joint Business Partnerships (JBPs) and strategic partnerships to help meet our effectiveness and efficiency goals (including retail-media JBPs).
  • Media Plan Governance: Govern the delivery of media plans, providing overall stewardship of media investments, plans, and inventory.
  • Content Strategies: Work with marketing to evolve our content strategies to maximize the moments of receptivity across the path to purchase, in line with the audience strategy.
  • Content Fit-for-Purpose: Ensure our content is fit-for-purpose across the tactics we invest in, specifically within digital.
  • Integrated Communication: Support the marketing team to coordinate across various agencies (PR, Influencer, Creative, etc.) and consult on integrated communication strategies.
  • Media Evolution: Foster an environment of media evolution, learning, and improvement. Assist in media capability training/education of marketing team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required (Marketing or Business preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years marketing, integrated marketing communication, and/or connections/media planning and buying within Canada.
  • Consumer Goods Category: Demonstrated deep understanding of consumer goods category.
  • Agency Experience: Agency experience highly desirable.
  • Performance Marketing: Experience in performance marketing, omnichannel brand strategy, digital, partnerships, and social media marketing across paid/owned/earned and shared desired.
