Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled User Support Technician to join our team at SOFT-TOUCH TECHNOLOGIES INC.

Job Summary:

The User Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and network connectivity. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of computer systems and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
