We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Professional to join our team at PRASO Consulting Inc. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, post journal entries, and prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns and trial balance of books, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate financial data
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, and strong organizational skills
- Client focus, flexibility, and ability to work as part of a team
This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
