Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Learning Manager specializing in Cloud technologies to spearhead the tactical execution of learning initiatives and to formulate a long-term strategic approach to Cloud education aligned with our Talent strategy.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Assess organizational needs and implement impactful learning and performance programs that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Design, promote, and manage designated learning programs, conducting regular evaluations and providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, contributing strategic insights to business decisions and making recommendations to senior leadership based on comprehensive business understanding.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, influencing and negotiating to meet business objectives while identifying emerging trends that inform decision-making.
  • Review and enhance program effectiveness, incorporating industry trends and making necessary adjustments.
  • Develop measurable strategies for program sustainability, including risk assessment and prioritization of opportunities.
  • Create business cases by identifying needs, analyzing options, and assessing potential returns on investment.
  • Outline business priorities, advise on resource allocation, and develop a roadmap for strategic execution.
  • Define the learning strategy to meet business objectives and seek necessary approvals.
  • Conduct independent analyses to address strategic challenges.
  • Provide analytics and reporting requirements to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze data to derive insights and recommendations for program enhancements.
  • Monitor program performance, proactively addressing any issues that arise.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to communicate progress.
  • Lead the development of communication strategies aimed at positively influencing behavior.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment.
  • Oversee operational program execution, adapting as necessary to maintain quality.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, communicating concerns to senior leadership.
  • Support the creation of learning strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance on solution implementation, addressing performance gaps with effective recommendations.
  • Design and manage impactful learning solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Engage in various projects and initiatives to support business strategies within established timelines and budgets.
  • Facilitate learning programs to help leaders and employees achieve performance objectives.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment throughout program execution.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring performance metrics and service agreements are met.
  • Support strategic initiative execution, tracking metrics and milestones.
  • Assist in change management activities to ensure successful implementation.
  • Develop tailored communications to support program objectives.
  • Continuously monitor industry developments to keep programs competitive and effective.
  • Operate at an enterprise level, providing specialized support to senior leaders.
  • Apply creative problem-solving skills to address complex situations.
  • Adapt to changing trends and broader responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise in learning design and facilitation.
  • Strong program management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on execution.
  • Professional background combining education, experience, and industry knowledge.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
