Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at EightSix Network. As an HR Generalist, you will provide administrative support to the HR Manager and contribute to the full recruitment cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the HR Manager in all HR matters.
  • Oversee and actively contribute to the full recruitment cycle, including creating job profiles, selecting sourcing methods, and coordinating background verifications.
  • Assess and process payroll, ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the system.
  • Answer questions from employees in a timely manner and set up and maintain current employees' records and database.
  • Onboard new hires and assist in the implementation of HR strategies, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Support our branches in the US and assist on other HR projects and duties as assigned.
  • Act as the first line for all HR administration queries and participate in the annual performance evaluation process and succession planning.
  • Maintain and organize HR files and correspondence with various government entities.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Human Resource Management or any related studies.
  • Between 2-4 years of experience in human resources as a generalist (CPHR is an asset).
  • An enthusiasm for working in a transforming environment and previous experience and/or knowledge of the US employment regulations.
  • Sense of organization, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuing growth and development with a similar ambition to progress your career.
  • Expertise in MS Office packages (word, excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingual (French & English) oral and written communication.
  • Ability to maintain internal and external relationships.
