Job Title: Patient Service Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Assistant to join our team at DR HENRY OGHOGHO MEDICINE PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION. As a Patient Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare staff, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining patient records.
  • Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs, collecting medical history, and preparing patients for exams.
  • Perform various clinical tasks, such as preparing medical equipment, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, medical office administration).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
