Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare staff, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs, collecting medical history, and preparing patients for exams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, including restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste.
  • Transport patients to and from exams, procedures, and other areas of the clinic as needed.
  • Assist with medical procedures, including preparing patients, setting up equipment, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, including answering questions, providing reassurance, and offering words of encouragement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care, including communicating with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Vulnerable sector check and Tuberculosis test.
