Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at AYR Motor Express Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials
  • Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer combination in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Load and unload goods and materials
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate transportation
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • 2 years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and long hours

Working Conditions:
