Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

VRP Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and cargo to ensure efficient and timely delivery.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition and adhering to all maintenance schedules.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license.
  • Communication Systems: Experience with GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: Long-haul experience.
