Job Summary:

The Restaurant Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train staff to ensure they are meeting the high standards of customer service and food quality.
  • Manage Inventory: Manage inventory levels to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary supplies to operate efficiently.
  • Monitor Revenues: Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and make adjustments as needed.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Plan and organize daily operations to ensure that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Recruit and Hire Staff: Recruit and hire staff as needed to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary personnel to operate effectively.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions:

The Restaurant Assistant Manager will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and will be required to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
