Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Companion to join our team at Charles MacPherson Associates. As a key member of our household staff, you will provide exceptional support to our principal, ensuring their daily needs are met with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the principal's schedules and calendars, ensuring seamless coordination of appointments and events.
  • Plan and coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
  • Prepare healthy and delicious meals, adhering to a Mediterranean diet, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Assist with laundry, ensure the principal receives daily medication, and arrange appointments for personal and professional needs.
  • Greet guests and visitors, answer phone calls, and manage general correspondence.
  • Oversee household inventories, implement organizational strategies, and ensure all mechanical systems are in good working order.
  • Run errands, perform tasks such as grocery shopping, and assist with the care of our household dog.

Requirements:

  • Be a self-starter with an anticipatory service-oriented disposition.
  • Possess excellent time management skills, be punctual, courteous, and detail-oriented.
  • Exercise diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada and possess a current passport.
