About the Opportunity
The University of Toronto's Temerty Faculty of Medicine and the Division of Geriatric Medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre are seeking a qualified academic geriatrician to fill the position of Clinician in Quality and Innovation. This is a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in geriatric medicine, with a focus on quality and innovation.
- Contribute to research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives in geriatric medicine.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and practice innovations in geriatric medicine.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, organizations, and community agencies to improve quality and innovation in geriatric medicine.
- Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs at the University of Toronto.
Requirements
- MD degree and certification in Geriatric Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
- Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
- Demonstrated clinical excellence in geriatric medicine.
- Academic interest in quality and innovation, with advanced training and specialization in quality improvement and innovation.
What We Offer
- Estimated remuneration in the range of $389,000, commensurate with academic rank, qualifications, and experience.
- Eligibility for membership in the Sunnybrook Department of Medicine Association practice plan.
- Participation in the department's group medical, dental, and life insurance benefit plans.
