Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified academic geriatrician to join our team as a Clinician in Quality and Innovation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of geriatric medicine and quality improvement initiatives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will hold an MD degree and have, or be eligible for, certification in Geriatric Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

The candidate will be expected to demonstrate clinical excellence in geriatric medicine and have a strong interest in quality and innovation. They will be responsible for developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives, as well as participating in the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs of the University of Toronto.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives in geriatric medicine
  • Participate in the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs of the University of Toronto
  • Contribute to the advancement of geriatric medicine through research and publications
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams and organizations to improve quality and innovation in geriatric care
Requirements
  • MD degree
  • Certification in Geriatric Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
  • Strong interest in quality and innovation in geriatric medicine
