Academic Geriatrician Clinician in Quality and Innovation
Job Summary:The University of Toronto and the Division of Geriatric Medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre are seeking a qualified academic geriatrician to fill the position of Clinician in Quality and Innovation. The successful candidate will be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical care to patients in geriatric medicine
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and innovation in geriatric medicine
- Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs
- Develop collaborative partnerships with healthcare teams, organizations, and community agencies
- MD degree
- Certification in Geriatric Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Demonstrated clinical excellence in geriatric medicine
- Academic interest in quality and innovation
- Estimated remuneration in the range of $389,000
- Eligibility for membership in the Sunnybrook Department of Medicine Association practice plan
- Participation in the department's group medical, dental, and life insurance benefit plans
