Job Title: Church Caretaker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Church Caretaker to join our team at Guru Nanak Niwas Society. As a Church Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our religious facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Facility Maintenance: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform safety and security checks. Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Support Services: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
