Fixed Income Analyst - Global Rates

The Fixed Income team is seeking a highly motivated and career-driven individual to join as a Fixed Income Analyst. In this role, you will work closely with the Portfolio Manager, gaining direct exposure to the portfolio management process from a top-down macro and bottom-up perspective. You will support the Portfolio Manager by conducting independent research on macroeconomic trends and valuation analyses across G-10 rates markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomic trends and investment opportunities across developed markets.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to identify actionable investment ideas across G10 rates markets using fundamental and relative value analysis.
  • Develop and maintain effective dialogue across CIGAM teams on market developments and research findings.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant fixed income markets experience; prior experience investing in European or Asian rates markets would be a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar disciplines.
  • CFA designation or progress toward the charter would be a plus.
  • Experience with programming tools would be a plus (VBA, Python, SQL).
  • Strong fundamental and quantitative analysis skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of fixed income valuation and risk metrics.
  • Understanding of macro and international economics.
  • A strong sense of business ethics.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Inquisitive nature, independent thinker, and self-starter.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • A passion and enthusiasm for capital markets and global fixed income investing.
