The Role: IT Support Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Lead of the Service Desk, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to our employees across various business units.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage service requests from both business and manufacturing facilities.
- Offer Tier 1 support for Tolko standard applications and End User Computing standards.
- Receive, prioritize, document, and actively resolve end-user requests.
- Escalate incidents when necessary to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements.
What We're Looking For:
- A college diploma or university degree in computer science or equivalent experience in a customer service-focused IT role.
- Experience with service desk ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of desktop and server operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport, listening, and questioning.
- Understanding of basic computer hardware, including desktops, servers, storage, mobile devices, and network devices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and related applications (Office, Teams, OneDrive).
- Familiarity with the fundamental principles of ITIL is an advantage.
