Job Title: Senior Advisor Vendor Management

Join National Bank as a Senior Advisor in the Vendor Management Office team and take on a challenging role that requires expertise in vendor management, influencing orientations and policies related to supplier governance, and ensuring the implementation, operationalization, and end-to-end management of the contract life cycle.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage the life cycle of contracts under your responsibility to optimize the Bank's profitability.
  • Lead and act as an owner in contractual governance, develop strategic relationships with partners, and apply industry best practices in supplier management.
  • Lead and influence the direction of sectors to optimize supplier performance and alignment with the Bank's objectives.
  • Act as the main liaison between the bank and its suppliers.
  • Understand and ensure the control of risks related to third parties, including information security due diligence, financial analyses, IT continuity and succession plans, and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Identify issues, participate in risk analysis, assess impacts on the Bank, and formulate and follow up on innovative long-term solutions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of cost optimization strategies.
Your Team:

As a member of the Vendor Management Office sector, you will report to the Senior Manager – Vendor Management Office. Prerequisites:
  • Industry-related Bachelor's degree and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience or Industry-related Master's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience and expertise in the banking sector, with a focus on financial markets.
  • Experience in governance, third-party performance management, contract management, and risk management.
Language:

English and French are required, as you will need to discuss frequently with service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
