Position Overview:

The Chief of Corporate Services plays a pivotal role in advancing Healthy Communities for All through strategic leadership and collaborative governance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the administration of the Corporate Services Division, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and manage a diverse team, fostering collaboration across various divisions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and maintain high-quality standards in all division activities.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with the division's operations.
  • Align divisional activities with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and update organizational policies and procedures to reflect current best practices.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management and relevant committees.
  • Manage all aspects of Building Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Financial Services.
  • Address public inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct internal investigations and report findings to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate positive labor relations and administer collective agreements.
  • Collaborate on the preparation of the annual budget and provide regular financial updates.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of administrative experience, preferably in the public sector or health-related fields.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on negotiation and decision-making.
  • Proficient in various software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Knowledge of ethical practices and relevant legislation at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel.
  • Completion of relevant health and safety training is required.
