About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at VIP DUTTS SPICE CIRCLE EAST INDIAN RESTAURANT INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings
    • Plan and execute menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Chef Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and train a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure seamless kitchen operations
    • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and knowledge
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards of safety and quality
    • Implement and maintain strict food safety and quality control procedures to prevent contamination and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control
    • Manage inventory levels and costs to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively
    • Monitor and control food costs to ensure that we are meeting our budget targets
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring that they have a positive and memorable dining experience
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers to ensure repeat business and positive word-of-mouth
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Language Skills
    • Fluency in English
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Fast-paced environment with high pressure to meet deadlines
    • Ability to work in a hot and cold/refrigerated environment
    • Standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads
  • Personal Qualities
    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances
    • Organized and methodical approach to work
    • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
