About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team in Western Canada. As a key member of our Restaurant Development department, you will be responsible for the successful execution of reinvestment projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and Promote Positive Relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including franchisees, corporate staff, general contractors, architects, vendors, and municipal authorities.
  • Project Management and Coordination
    • Monitor and control the reinvestment project management process, coordinating the efforts of others, including Owner/Operators, McOpCo, contractors, and external consultants.
    • Ensure quality control standards for Reinvestment, including cost, time, conformity with specifications and standards.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage and track project budgets, schedules, construction, and project close-out.
  • Procurement and Contract Management
    • Develop scopes, estimates, tenders, and award contracts.
    • Create purchase orders and CCOs.
  • Project Close-Out and Reporting
    • Manage change orders, deficiencies, and project close-out.
    • Provide regular project reports and updates to management.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Demonstrated experience in construction project management, with a strong background in the Quick-Service-Restaurant (QSR) industry.
  • Collaborative and Communication Skills
    • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively build strong partnerships with management, staff, and external partners.
  • Project Management Experience
    • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to make critical decisions to drive project success.
  • Technical Skills
    • Advanced skills in Smartsheet, Excel, and SharePoint/OneDrive.
  • Agility
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and travel within Western Canada up to 30% of the year.
