About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Trans-United Consultants Ltd. as a Process Improvement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Studies and Analysis

Conduct thorough studies to determine optimum inventory levels and utilization of machinery and resources, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal waste.

Design and Implement Manufacturing Systems

Design and implement manufacturing systems that optimize the use of computer networks, robots, and materials, resulting in improved productivity and reduced costs.

Evaluate and Assess Industrial Facilities

Evaluate and assess industrial facilities to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure that all opportunities have been explored.

Eliminate Wastefulness and Improve Processes

Identify and eliminate wastefulness in production processes, implementing improvements that result in increased efficiency and productivity.

Plan and Design Plant Layouts and Facilities

Plan and design plant layouts and facilities that optimize space utilization and improve workflow.

Conduct Reliability and Performance Studies

Conduct studies on the reliability and performance of plant facilities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Assess and Improve Industrial Facilities

Assess and improve industrial facilities to ensure they are operating at optimal levels, resulting in improved productivity and reduced costs.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.

Computer and Technology Skills

Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and MS Office, with experience in using computer networks and robots in manufacturing systems.

Area of Work Experience

Experience in operations or production, with a focus on lean manufacturing and process improvement.

Area of Specialization

Specialized in process improvement and industrial engineering, with a focus on optimizing manufacturing systems and processes.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Personal Suitability

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
