We are a dynamic restaurant company seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory levels.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Recruitment: Recruit and hire staff as needed to support kitchen operations.
- Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
