We are a dynamic restaurant company seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory levels.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Recruitment and Hiring: Recruit and hire staff as needed to meet the demands of the restaurant.
- Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Canadian Cuisine: Prepare and cook Canadian-inspired dishes and foods.
- International Cuisine: Prepare and cook international-inspired dishes and foods.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods while working in the kitchen.
- Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet the demands of the restaurant.

- Awareness Training: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Flexible Onboarding: Offer flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship and coaching opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Hiring Policies: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
