Job Summary:As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents, performing assessments, and implementing care plans. You will also supervise care staff and administer medications as needed.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet residents' needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Supervise and direct care staff to ensure high-quality care
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dementia care and cultural education preferred
- Competitive hourly rate of $32.84
