Lead Civil, Structure and Architecture Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Civil, Structure and Architecture Engineer to join our team at G Mining Services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and designers in the execution of civil engineering works for mining projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of civil engineers in the design and delivery of mining projects.
- Plan, organize, and manage engineering and construction projects, including the development of schedules and budgets.
- Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies for projects.
- Coordinate activities with other technical disciplines and external partners.
- Ensure that projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct technical reviews and risk analyses to identify and mitigate potential problems.
- Prepare and present progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Provide mentoring and technical support to team members.
- Degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of civil engineering experience, with experience in the mining industry being a strong asset.
- Experience in designing concrete and steel structures for heavy industry buildings.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large and complex projects.
- Project management skills, including planning, cost control, and resource management.
- Experience in preparing and designing drawings of concrete and steel structures.
- Proficient with design and project management software (Revit, AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
- Ability to communicate in English and/or French.
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (O.I.Q.) or licensed as a professional engineer in any other province in Canada.
