About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cash Application Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our accounts receivable department, you will be responsible for processing high-volume transactions and ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address discrepancies and resolve payment issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process and reconcile remittances and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage customer database accounts, maintaining up-to-date information and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Post daily payments, including checks, wires, and ACH credit transfers, to customer accounts
  • Kick off general ledger reports on a weekly basis, providing valuable insights into our financial performance
Requirements
  • Experience with high-volume data entry and a strong attention to detail
  • At least 2 years of experience working in an accounts receivable department, with a focus on cash application and transaction processing
  • Previous experience with cash applications and remittance processing
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on customer service
