At EllisDon, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and healthy work environment. As a Corporate Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and promoting safety standards across our operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and managing HSE information, tools, documents, and data through our HSE Management system software, EHS Insight.
- Gathering and compiling data related to HSE statistics to support informed decision-making.
- Working closely with the HSE team to evaluate, monitor, and assist in the execution of HSE programs and initiatives.
- Supporting the subcontractor HSE pre-qualification process to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Creating HSE alerts and other communications to keep all stakeholders informed.
Are you the ideal candidate?
- 5 days in the office are required.
- A background in health and safety with 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
- Experience in a corporate office setting is essential.
- Proficiency in computer skills and technical knowledge. Familiarity with EHS Insight or similar HSE management software is advantageous.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen focus on organization and detail.
