Job Responsibilities

As a Community Outreach Coordinator with Health Careers in Saskatchewan, you will provide support through a range of programs and services to help clients achieve mental and emotional balance to meet the needs and challenges of daily living.

  • Develop and implement community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.
  • Provide counseling and support services to clients in need.
  • Collaborate with community partners to develop and implement health promotion initiatives.
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop strategies to address health disparities.
  • Provide education and training to clients and community members on health-related topics.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A certificate in Indigenous Social Work (CISW) or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work and communicate in a cross-cultural setting.
  • A valid driver's license, where required.
