About the Role

Casa Mia Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Recreation Coordinator to join our team. As a Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing recreational programs for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement recreational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor professional staff, program leaders, and instructors to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate special events and activities that promote socialization and engagement among residents.
  • Consulting Services: Provide expert advice and consulting services to staff and residents on recreational programs and activities.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Maintain certifications such as Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and First Aid Certificate.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Nursing home/home for the aged.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
