Account Receivable Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. As a Credit Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining good business relations with customers, while respecting performance standards and objectives, to promote customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the amount of credit to be granted to customers, based on creditworthiness assessment, and on the basis of the company's credit approval policies and matrix.
- Monitor the timely collection of accounts receivable to limit the risks associated with bad debts.
- Ongoing verification and monitoring of customer credit histories with financial institutions or credit associations.
- Maintain up-to-date financial information in customer files.
- Reconciliation of accounts receivable activity with the general ledger to ensure integrity of financial statements.
- Monthly reports on customer account activity, account age and collections.
- Management of procedures according to corporate group guidelines, interpretation of regulations and legislation concerning financing and/or the rights and obligations.
- Mediation, supporting business unit managers in settling litigation.
Requirements
- University degree (Commerce, Administration) or equivalent.
- 5 years' experience in accounts receivable management combined with 3 years' experience in personnel management.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Skill level: intermediate in speaking, writing and reading.
- Frequency: weekly.
- Purpose: Communications with U.S. corporate group as well as with customers outside Quebec regarding customer accounts.

- Leadership (rallying, mobilizing, guiding, influencing).
