Héroux-Devtek is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Representative to join its Product Support Organization in St-Hubert. As a key member of our team, you will provide first-line support to our customers to restore Landing Gear to an airworthy condition in a timely manner.
Main Responsibilities- Perform technical analysis and repairs on aircraft Landing Gears at OEM or operator facilities.
- Provide remote technical support, including written work instructions and requests for inspections to assess technical issues.
- Provide training to team members, customers, and operators on best practices, ensuring compliance with safety directives and safe working and environmental methodology.
- Work within the scope of approval, procedures, and mandates issued by Héroux-Devtek's quality organization.
- Identify and report airworthiness issues in line with Héroux-Devtek's quality system requirements.
- Accomplish assigned tasks in line with TC/FAA/EASA and other airworthiness regulations as applicable.
- Complete all documentation in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner.
- Perform incoming quality inspections of parts in the warehouse as required.
- Be available on call for remote support services after business hours.
- Perform any other reasonable requests and improvement recommendations for the benefit of the business.
- Knowledge of Landing Gears maintenance and overhaul is strongly recommended.
- Comprehensive knowledge of aerospace original equipment assembly, maintenance, repair, and overhaul, and conversance with original equipment design drawings and test schedules, Component Maintenance Manuals, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, Repair Schemes, and Concessions.
- A valid passport, a valid driver's license, and a car.
- The ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand French and English.
- Understanding of Unit Log Cards, requirements management, MRB data, and Life Limited Parts concept.
- Computer literacy, with the ability to access software on or off site to complete tasks and produce Certificates of Release, Form 1, and Visit Reports.
- Availability to travel anywhere in the world within short notice, during or outside normal business hours, as required by the business.
- Customer-focused with a drive to complete tasks and keep all stakeholders informed of progress.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks.
- Strong self-planning and organizing skills, underpinned with flexibility to react to changing customer needs.
- The ability to tackle a problem and implement a resolution.
- Strong team-working skills, with the ability to motivate others to complete tasks on time.
- A clear and concise communicator, able to engage with a wide audience of stakeholders.
