Nature-Action Québec is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Environmental Service Representative at our Ecocentre in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.
Key Responsibilities
As an Environmental Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Welcoming visitors to the ecocentre, informing them of the facility's operations and regulations, and providing assistance as needed;
- Entering visitor information into the computer system and monitoring the type, volume, and compliance of materials brought to the ecocentre;
- Fostering a positive customer experience throughout their visit by providing exceptional customer service;
- Sorting and storing certain materials (hazardous household waste, electronics);
- Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the premises;
- Adhering to health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations in place;
- Completing any additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one year of experience in customer service;
- Excellent communication skills in French (oral);
- Basic English conversation skills (an asset);
- Good physical condition and endurance to work outdoors in various weather conditions;
- Strong customer service and communication skills;
- A positive attitude and professional behavior (autonomy, punctuality, courtesy, and teamwork).
