We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Critical Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Stepdown, and High Acuity areas. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, collect relevant data, and develop individualized care plans to address their unique needs and goals.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with patients, families, and the interprofessional care team to ensure seamless communication, coordination, and delivery of care.
- Nursing Interventions and Education: Implement evidence-based nursing interventions, provide education and support to patients and families, and promote health literacy and self-care.
- Documentation and Quality Improvement: Accurately document patient information, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Leadership and Professional Development: Demonstrate leadership skills, participate in educational programs, and engage in professional development activities to enhance clinical competence and knowledge.
- Education and Experience: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Skills and Abilities: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate empathy and cultural competence, and exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
