About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Sales Associate to join our team at Canadian Tire Nipigon. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing product information as needed.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking shelves and ensuring that products are properly displayed and priced.
  • Transactions and Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Stockroom and Receiving: Receive and process incoming shipments, stocking shelves and ensuring that products are properly stored and secured.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively and professionally at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and heavy lifting required.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
