Job Title: Director Go-To-Market

Job Summary:

The University of Fredericton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Go-To-Market to lead the development and execution of our go-to-market strategy for the Canadian higher education market. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth, revenue, and market share in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy tailored to the Canadian higher education market.
  2. Set and manage ambitious growth targets for Canada, including budgeting and efficiency metrics like CLV:CAC ratio.
  3. Collaborate with the product development team to customize solutions for the Canadian market.

Marketing and Campaign Management:

  1. Work with the performance marketing team to design and execute targeted campaigns that generate leads and drive demand.
  2. Build and optimize a sales funnel using website, CRM, and sales teams to enhance lead conversion.

Data Analysis and Optimization:

  1. Monitor and analyze performance data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make necessary adjustments.
  2. Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging trends in the Canadian higher education sector.

Team and Budget Management:

  1. Manage the budget for the Canadian market, including forecasting, planning, and resource allocation.
  2. Build and lead a high-performing marketing team to meet revenue and growth objectives.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting, marketing, sales, business development, or high-growth startups in Canada.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies and achieve growth targets.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with expertise in marketing and brand building.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and sales technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of the Canadian higher education industry, including key players and trends.

Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
