The Role: The Account Director, Strategy Lead, is a strategic, insightful, and dynamic leader. They will lead key accounts and projects, ensuring a clearly defined, measurable strategy is at the forefront of all projects. Passionate about achieving results, the successful candidate will lead the project team to deliver exceptional work across a range of services and always alongside an outstanding client experience. They believe in the importance of an exceptional client experience and are a committed team player.
Reporting to the VP Strategy & Impact, key responsibilities of the role include:
- Leading the execution of complex strategic projects and campaigns aligned to client objectives and agency standards and managing the project plan.
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Mentoring and developing the account team through collaboration and training opportunities.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing and agency strategies.
- Participating in business development efforts, including developing client proposals and identifying opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in client services or account management within a marketing agency.
- Proven track record of managing complex client accounts and campaign.
- Strong leadership and communication skills and a proven ability to develop teams.
- Deep understanding of marketing channels and best practices.
