Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of restaurant staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory levels, and other restaurant expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
