The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for overseeing lululemon's overall financial performance. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into various operations within the company, often collaborating with cross-functional teams on diverse projects.

As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will add immediate value, grasp the broader context, and develop a robust business and finance skill set that will benefit your future career within the organization.

Reporting to the Manager/Senior Manager of FP&A, your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting, and analysis of operational costs.
  • Communicating results effectively to senior leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Identifying and analyzing monthly and quarterly variances to budget and forecast, proactively spotting opportunities for enhancement and potential risks.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports and analyses at month-end and quarter-end to convey financial outcomes to FP&A and business leadership.
  • Creating and maintaining intricate financial models and dashboards to illustrate financial performance with minimal guidance.
  • Participating in cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc projects to provide financial analysis for strategic support.
  • Conducting complex revenue and margin analyses and KPI planning to identify performance trends and leverage insights to inform financial outlooks.
  • Managing SG&A reporting and dashboard improvements, coordinating efforts across the FP&A team.

Qualifications include:

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in finance, financial analysis, and reporting within dynamic business environments.
  • Experience in the retail industry is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA or MBA credentials are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Hyperion or large financial planning software is beneficial.
  • A strong financial background with expert proficiency in Excel is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to foster connections by prioritizing people and building trust.
