Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various teams to grasp their user experience objectives, particularly concerning usability and engagement.
  • Develop site maps, wireframes, labeling systems, navigation structures, search functionalities, mock-ups, and other relevant artifacts in your area of expertise.
  • Design the user experience for designated segments of TVO's digital offerings, adhering to the established style guide.
  • Conceptualize and produce storyboards while crafting layouts for engaging visual content.
  • Engage in user research initiatives, including interviews, surveys, prototype evaluations, and data analysis.
  • Compose technical summaries, creative documents, and other reports pertinent to your field.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Web and Mobile Developers, and QA Analysts to deliver the intended user experience.
  • Create and uphold specifications and documentation.
  • Adapt to and acquire new practices, techniques, and technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining user experience standards and practices as they relate to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Stay informed about trends in information design, including conducting research into current and emerging techniques, standards, and practices.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree is required, along with 1-3 years of experience as a UX designer.
  • A solid understanding of usability principles.
  • Formal training in design.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure setting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to articulate ideas in both business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Capability to research emerging technologies.
