We are seeking a Director of Retail Operations for the Atlantic Region, who will report directly to the Vice President of Retail Operations. This pivotal role, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, will oversee our retail operations across the Atlantic, including corporate service centers and our Franchise Network.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team Development
  • Contribute to succession planning for critical roles within the team;
  • Build and lead a high-performing team through effective coaching and development aligned with our core values;
  • Support the growth of Regional and Service Center Managers;
  • Collaborate closely with the Atlantic Franchisee Network and the ATL Regional Partnership Committee;
  • Establish trust-based relationships with team members;
  • Foster internal and external partnerships, particularly with the Service Delivery and Operational Performance teams;
  • Engage with the team in the field, promoting open communication and proactive leadership;
Business Management and Performance
  • Enhance the profitability of both Corporate and Franchisee retail networks through targeted action plans;
  • Ensure optimal operational performance across the network;
  • Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive business success;
  • Manage financial resources effectively within budgetary constraints;
  • Assess team performance using established KPIs;
  • Provide insights on regional market trends to internal stakeholders;
  • Oversee compliance with corporate strategies and initiatives across all retail operational sites;
  • Work with the Real Estate Team to manage corporate network development and optimization;
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; an MBA is preferred;
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in managing multiple retail units;
  • Experience in franchise network management;
  • Strong operational expertise with a focus on initiative execution;
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking;
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Strong customer service orientation;
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment;
  • Experience in developing and implementing new initiatives;
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the Atlantic provinces;
  • Occasional travel to other regions may be required;
