Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and support to employees delivering support services
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate the operations of one or more support services
  • Ensure high-quality services that are person-centered and directed by the individual
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and regulations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in social or health sciences
  • 5+ years progressive leadership experience in developmental services or a related sector
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislation and theories related to the developmental sector
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and documentation software
  • First Aid/CPR Certification
  • NVCPI Certification
  • Valid "G" class license and reliable vehicle
  • Be willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada
