About the Role

CarePartners is seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team in the Petrolia area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care to patients in their homes and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, and medication management.
  • Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to special diets as determined by the care plan.
  • Promote a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques, and home safety.

Requirements

  • A valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program.
  • Current vulnerable sector check screening and a clear background check.
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, including early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends.
