About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Lambton County Developmental Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Teaching and assisting with daily supports, such as housekeeping responsibilities and money management.
  • Facilitating opportunities for individual skill development, independence, and personal growth.

Requirements:

  • Valid "G or G2" class license and reliable vehicle.
  • Current certification in First Aid/CPR required.
  • Current certification in NVCPI or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is an asset.

What We Offer:

  • $22.27 - $22.93 per hour based on experience.
  • Part-time - multiple rotations available.
  • Scheduled a mixture of days, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Opportunities to pick up additional hours.
