Pastry Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Professional to join our team at LUCULLUS PASTRIES INC. as a Pastry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory pastries, breads, and desserts for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Special Orders: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Customer Service: Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a bakery or pastry shop.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and overtime required.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and standing for extended periods.
- Accurate: Accurate and reliable in all aspects of the job.
- Client Focus: Focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Dependability: Dependable and reliable in meeting deadlines and completing tasks.
- Excellent Written Communication: Excellent written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
