L'Écluse is seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our vibrant kitchen team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
The successful candidate will work in a restaurant setting, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Order and manage food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes
- Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions
- Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas
- Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Willingness to stand for extended periods
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks under pressure
- Strong client focus and dependability
- Flexibility and initiative in a team setting
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Type: Temporary
- Language: English or French
- Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
