About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to join our Canadian Banking Finance team at Tangerine Bank. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our business by leading a small, high-impact team and reporting to our Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all matters related to treasury, including the distribution of product funds transfer pricing (FTP) rates from treasury to the business lines to support timely, comprehensive, and robust pricing decisions.
  • Support deep dives or additional requests into treasury-related items and act as an advocate for Tangerine to ensure accurate value is being ascribed to all assets and deposits.
  • Provide relevant financial updates to both Tangerine and Scotiabank senior executives and the Tangerine Board of Directors as required.
  • Assist in developing front-end data visualization tools and dashboards to directly support the Tangerine Executive Leadership Team's ability to understand our financial results and make critical and timely business decisions.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience at a financial institution in Treasury, Product, Economics, or Finance roles.
  • Relevant experience at a financial institution, leading complex, multi-facet projects, process improvement initiatives, and/or technology roadmaps.
  • Experience interacting with senior executives on a regular basis.
  • Domestic-focused work (Canadian Banking segment).
  • Direct support to Tangerine Executive Leadership Team, key stakeholders across business lines, and Canadian Banking Finance.
