Job Title: Cook, Ethnic Foods

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Keshav Foods. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Overtime required
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Work under pressure
